CONCORD, N.H. – Teagan Daly, age 15, of Brookline, has taken top honors among young New Hampshire artists in the 2007 Federal Junior Duck Stamp Conservation and Design Contest. Daly’s colored pencil drawing of a red-breasted merganser was chosen from among 156 entries as New Hampshire’s State Best of Show in the Federal Junior Duck Stamp Contest. New Hampshire’s portion of the contest was coordinated by the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s Hunter Safety program is offering several hunter education classes throughout the spring and summer in central Florida.
Hunter safety certification is required for anyone born on or after June 1, 1975 in order to purchase a Florida hunting license. It’s a good idea for those who plan to hunt next fall to take a class now, and not wait until the last minute and risk not getting into a class later.
