On the South West Miramichi River today the water was 62F and very clear and with over cast sky’s. I started the day at 5:10am fishing at the mouth of Cains River with the moon still in the sky, And got 4 nice brookies around 12 to 14 inches. There was still lots of trout around that I could see rolling about. I also fished a couple other pools downstream and had no luck the rest of the morning. (Read more)
