The West Virginia Wildlife Federation and the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources are seeking hunters who own trophy white-tailed bucks that were legally taken in West Virginia with either bow or gun and have a Pope and Young or Boone and Crockett net score of 150 or greater. This is the fifth year that the West Virginia Big Buck Display has been held in conjunction with West Virginia’s Celebration of National Hunting and Fishing Day. This year’s event is scheduled for September 22 – 23, 2007 at Stonewall Resort State Park near Weston in Lewis County, and it is expected to attract 12,000 visitors.
