Pompano Beach Rather than have her preoccupied husband try to help her set up for their daughter’s birthday party on Saturday, Katrina Langdon told him to go fishing on the final day of the Mercury Pompano Beach Fishing Rodeo. And that helped what could have been a long, stressful day go much easier for Frank Langdon.
On Friday, Langdon caught a 41.6-pound cobia, the heaviest fish on the opening day of the 42nd annual Rodeo, but he had to wait until 2 p.m. Saturday when the weigh-in at Alsdorf Park ended to find out if that fish held up. Read more
