National Fishing and Boating Week 2007 (NFBW) begins June 2 and runs through June 10. Thousands of organizations all over the country will host events to promote fishing and boating. On Tuesday, June 5, ASA, the American Fly Fishing Association, the International Game Fish Association, the National Marine Manufacturers Association and the Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation will host a reception on Capitol Hill for their members, Members of Congress and their staff, federal and state agency representatives, non-governmental agency representatives and other guests in the Senate Caucus Room beginning at 6:00 p.m.
