Spring returns to Niagara County – and so does trout season

Niagara County Legislature Chairman William L. Ross and Legislator Russ Rizzo laugh after being splashed by a boisterous brown trout the pair were about to transfer from a DEC fish hatchery truck to MacDougall Lake in Wheatfield’s Oppenheim Park April 7. Oppenheim Park is located at 2713 Niagara Falls Blvd.
