The Townsend Rod and Gun Club is holding an ice-fishing derby on Sunday, Jan. 9. Registration begins at 7 a.m. and the derby will be 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. It will be held at the club pond at Emery Road and Dann Colburn Way, off Route 13 in Townsend.
