The other day when my buddy Brian called to ask me if I had ever fished a particular pond about a half-hour from my home, I had to admit that I hadn’t. In the last 40 years I’ve probably driven by there a thousand times and each time I find myself staring out at the water and wonder just how good the fishing is there.
