A feisty flathead smashed a Strike King crank bait Tuesday, landed at the top of Oklahoma’s state record list for rod and reel, and helped El Reno Lake regain its distinction as the state’s big flathead lake, according to a release from the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation.
