Texas Parks and Wildlife Department biologists recently discovered a fish kill on the Pecos River in Loving and Reeves counties, upstream of Mentone to an area above 16-Mile Dam.
The first call came from an area game warden March 16, and by March 20 TPWD Pollution Biologist Stephen Twidwell was on the river.
