ASA staff attended the three ASA/Fred Hall Fishing Tackle, Boat and Travel Consumer Shows held in San Francisco, Long Beach and San Diego. ASA used this forum as an opportunity to introduce California anglers, as well as fishing and boating businesses, to the CA Marine Life Protection Act, and engage them in the process to minimize unwarranted closures of California’s waters to sportfishing.
