LANDER – Although the last few weeks have brought some welcome rain, those rains haven’t broken drought’s grip on the land and streams of Wyoming. Drought not only affects agricultural producers and those seeking to enjoy outdoor recreation, but resident wildlife and fisheries as well. As the parched conditions continue to worsen, residents and visitors to the state are asked to take some precautions and to practice good stewardship of wildlife and fisheries.
