CELEBRATION, Fla. – B.A.S.S. LLC has acquired JM Associates, one of the nation’s oldest and largest outdoor programming production companies, B.A.S.S. announced.
JM Associates was founded by Jerry McKinnis, one of three private investors – along with Don Logan and Jim Copeland – who purchased B.A.S.S. from ESPN in November 2010. The group bought JM from Atlanta-based CSE, which has owned it since 2007.

EUFAULA, Ala. – National Guard FLW College Fishing is headed to Lake Eufaula April 30 for the third of four stops in the Southeast Division. Forty college teams will be competing for a top award of $10,000 to be split between the school and bass fishing club; $7,500 for bass club and $2,500 for their school.

BRANSON, Mo. – The Walmart FLW Tour on Table Rock Lake presented by AMP Energy visits Branson, Mo., May 5-8 for the fifth stop of the season. Hosted by Branson/Lakes Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, the tournament will feature as many as 300 top bass anglers casting for top awards up to $125,000 cash in the Pro Division and up to $25,000 cash in the Co-angler Division.

RALEIGH, N.C. – The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission has completed renovations to the Castle Hayne Boating Access Area, which is now open to the public.
Renovations include a paved parking lot, new docks and ramps and a new fishing pier. The renovated site was paid for through funds from the Sport Fish Restoration Program and motorboat registration receipts.
