CANON CITY, Colo. – The Colorado Division of Wildlife is asking for help solving a poaching crime in Canon City.
Around 8:30 a.m. on Friday, March 25, a north side resident called police to report a deer lying in a field near Cottonwood Street with an arrow in it. All hunting seasons are over, so whoever shot the deer did so illegally.
