COLUMBUS, OH – The first eaglet of 2010 has hatched in Huron County, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife.
The agency’s volunteer eagle watchers, who have been observing this nest (named the “Pontiac” nest) since incubation began in early February, reported at least one eaglet hatched on March 5. It will be several weeks before they can determine the total number of eaglets in the nest.

Next, the president forms a task force to oversee and protect the oceanic waters – we have yet to see the outcome of this group’s recommendations – some say this could even prevent you from fishing in a pond on your own property. Either of these could curtail recreational fishing as we know it. The fishery closures are already having a huge economic impact on the fishing industry. California anglers wrestle with all the areas closed to fishing every day.
