CABO SAN LUCAS (Los Cabos) – The 12th Annual Western Outdoor News/Yamaha Los Cabos Tuna Jackpot Tournament is set to begin later today.
Many of the expected 120 teams have already arrived to celebrate the 12th year of this two-day tournament, billed as the richest tuna event in the world. Off to a great beginning, the teams have been greeted by ideal weather, as well as catch reports of some huge tuna weighing 351.5 pounds, 313 pounds, and six cow-sized yellowfin tuna weighing over 200 pounds; all were caught in the waters off of San Jose del Cabo during the past few weeks.
