Virginia Beach, Va. – STIHL has announced exciting changes for the 2011 season of its popular lumberjack competition, the STIHL® TIMBERSPORTS® Series. The Series will be bringing its 26th season of the “original extreme sport” to college campuses around the country. Both pro and collegiate qualifying competitions will be produced at five college campuses in the spring, and the U.S. and Collegiate Championship will return to the Oregon State Fair Aug. 26-28, 2011. The Series, seen by millions around the world, airs on ESPN2 and ESPNU.
