In Jamie Olvera’s case, laziness paid off. Or at least she’s hoping it will. Olvera, a 25-year-old millitary police officer at Fort Wainwright, caught a 277.6-pound halibut on Saturday while fishing in Kachemak Bay with a charter out of Homer.
