Have You Ever Caught A Deformed Fish?

Steve sent in a picture of a curved spine walleye he caught in Illinois and asked how to measure it to see if it was legal. We often catch fish with deformities and the curved spine is fairly common. Have you caught a deformed fish? How would you measure this one, and would you eat it?

I have a few pictures of deformed fish in the gallery linked to by the picture. Send in any you have that I can add.
