Robert and his dad caught a bowfin and were surprised how hard it fought – and how hard it was to kill. They cooked it and he says I am wrong saying they are not good to eat. Several folks have told me that – I will have to try to cook the next one I catch, like the small one in the picture that hit a worm while I was bass fishing in Georgia
