The Fall 2009 issue of Eddies provides an in-depth look at the people behind the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Fisheries Program. The Service employs about 800 professionals in the program. From geneticists, maintenance workers and veterinarians to pharmaceutical researchers, animal caretakers and fish culturists-the breadth of occupations is surprisingly diverse.
