Kona, HAWAII – Last week the Emperor and Empress of Japan paid an official visit to Kona. WATERBURY, VT – The Fish & Wildlife Department’s Lake St. Catherine Access Area will be closed for repairs to the boat ramp starting August third.
The access currently has a large propeller wash hole that drops off approximately two feet at the end of the ramp and has begun to undercut the concrete ramp. The propeller wash hole will be removed and ramp will be extended to avoid similar problems in the future. If there are no delays with de-watering the construction area around the ramp, the access may be open by mid-August.
