On Saturday, March 7 Crappie USA held a qualifying event at the Dam on Lewis Smith Lake in Walker County, Alabama. Anglers from 8 different states were competing for not only cash and prizes, but a chance to advance to the prestigious Cabela’s Crappie USA Classic to be held at Columbus, Mississippi in the fall of 2009.
