CASSOPOLIS — Capt. Lyndon Parrish of the Cass County Sheriff’s Office was knocked from his first-place perch by an Elkhart fisherman in Saturday’s Stone Lake Ice Fishing Derby.
Bill Brown reeled in the winning perch, at 12.125 inches near the end of the daylong fishing contest. Parrish’s perch measured 11.75 inches with two hours left in the derby.
