A ll spring black bear hunters must purchase their licenses on or before April 14. Licenses purchased after April 14 can only be used for the fall black bear season. Black bear hunters are limited to only one black bear license a year.

Imagine how quickly contributions to help nongame species could grow if more Montanans participated.

A big front was scheduled to come through during the night on Friday. As Friday dawned, the forecast was for south winds 15 to 20 with gusts as high as 30!
