Montana’s spring black bear hunting season begins April 15. Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials said all spring black bear hunters must purchase their licenses on or before April 14. Licenses purchased after April 14 can only be used for the fall black bear season. Black bear hunters are limited to only one black bear license a year.

St Croix State Park’s winter trails are Closed for the Season.
Snowmobile trails are closed due to the lack of protective snow cover on bridge decks and black top roads, and the generally poor trail conditions. Thank you for a Great Year of snowmobiling! We have enjoyed the opportunity to host your winter outings and hope that you enjoyed St Croix’s trails and facilities.
