Snake River spring chinook fishery to open
Action / Species affected: The Snake River below Ice Harbor Dam, and the area between Texas Rapids and about one mile upstream of Little Goose Dam, will open for spring/summer chinook fishing in late April 2008.

Click on the author/publication link.COLUMBUS, OH – Ohio hunters harvested a preliminary total of 2,768 bearded wild turkeys on the first day of the spring turkey-hunting season, which is open statewide through May 18. The preliminary figure was almost eight percent above last year’s opening day harvest number of 2,569 turkeys, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife.
