The offshore fishing out of Venice, La. remains very good. The weather has been cooperating well, which is allowing us to run around a little until we find the fish. This spring to summer transition looks very good with rip lines starting to show up and an abundance of bait. (Read more)

A few trout are biting artificials and live shrimp at the jetties and up the creeks. A rare small flounder might hit anything, but the big boys have not come in yet. Look for redfish and black drum action to pick very soon. (Read more)
