WICHITA, Kansas) – The Coleman Company, Inc. announces today that its President and Chief Executive Officer, Gary Kiedaisch, has resigned from the Company effective immediately. The Company has initiated a search for a new CEO of the Coleman Company. In the interim, Sam Solomon, the Company’s current Chief Financial Officer, has been named acting Chief Executive Officer, and Dan Hogan, currently its Vice President of Finance, has been named acting Chief Financial Officer. Sam Solomon will report directly to Martin E. Franklin.

Richmond, Virginia – Governor Timothy M. Kaine today announced that a 244-acre site in Floyd County has become the Commonwealth’s fiftieth Virginia Natural Area Preserve. Chestnut Creek Wetland Natural Area Preserve, acquired by the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation, increases the preserve system to 42,295 acres protecting 317 different rare species and natural communities.
