THE REEL WINNERS AT EFTTEX

Comments Off on THE REEL WINNERS AT EFTTEX

EFTTA today re-confirmed that Shimano won the Best New Reel award in the prestigious Best New Product competition at EFTTEX 2007.
EFTTEX manager, Kate Scrafton, said, “As it happens, four reels gained awards in two different categories. Because it’s difficult to see the difference between the awards in a photograph, it was hard to tell from their adverts that the DAM Quick 2000 FD was the runner up in the Visitors’ Choice category whereas Shimano’s Stella FD was the winner in the Best New Reel category. Hardy & Greys’ Conquest Centre Pin won the Best of Show Visitors’ Choice and Pure Fishing took the runner up award in the Best New Reel competition. The situation has now been corrected but we wanted to clarify the situation for anyone who saw the original adverts.”
