Participants can come for all or part of the day and should bring a sack lunch if needed, plus binoculars and a spotting scope if they have one. Most teams should meet at the Nature Center by 7 a.m. From there, the counters will break into previously determined parties to cover different areas within a 15-mile diameter circle.
