High winds and rain that swept through the Twin Cities area on Monday, and early Tuesday (Aug. 27-28) downed or damaged many trees throughout Fort Snelling State Park.
For safety reasons, the park will remain closed to the public while crews remove downed trees from roads, trails, parking lots and public use areas of the park.
